Experience the perfect balance of flavors and textures with these pan-seared pork chops. Searing enhances the natural juices, while garlic, thyme, and paprika add a burst of flavor to create a delightful dining experience.

Ingredients:

  • 4 bone-in pork chops, about 1-inch thick
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground

Instructions:

For both sides, season the pork chops with salt, pepper, thyme, and paprika

Pat them dry with paper towels

Warm up the olive oil in a big pan over medium-high heat

Put minced garlic in the pan and cook for 30 seconds, until the garlic smells good

Put the pork chops that have been seasoned in the pan, but don't pack them too tightly

For 3 to 4 minutes on each side, or until they get a golden brown crust, sear the pork chops

Slow down the cooking and keep going until the internal temperature reaches 145F 63C

Take the pork chops out of the pan and let them rest for a few minutes

Then serve them

You can serve these tasty pork chops with your favorite side dishes
