Delicious brownies that are suitable for a Paleo diet and combine the flavors of cookies and brownies into one rich treat. These brownies are ideal for people who follow a Paleo diet because they don't contain eggs.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups almond flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup coconut sugar
- 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup almond butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup dairy-free chocolate chips
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350F 175C
In a large bowl, mix almond flour, cocoa powder, coconut sugar, baking soda, and salt
In another bowl, combine melted coconut oil, maple syrup, almond butter, and vanilla extract
Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix until well combined
Fold in chocolate chips
Press the mixture into a greased 8x8 inch baking dish
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean
Allow to cool before slicing into squares
