Pan Fried Cod



This simple Pan Fried Cod recipe is a flavorful and low-carb dinner option. The cod fillets are seasoned with a blend of spices, then pan-fried until golden and crispy. A splash of lemon juice adds a refreshing citrusy flavor, while fresh parsley enhances the dish with its vibrant green color and herbaceous taste.

Ingredients:

  • 4 cod fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley

Instructions:

Pat dry the cod fillets with paper towels

In a small bowl, mix together paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper

Rub the spice mixture onto both sides of the cod fillets

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat

Add the cod fillets to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through

Drizzle lemon juice over the cooked cod fillets

Garnish with chopped parsley before serving
